Labellum rigidly attached to apex of column foot, saccate at base, trilobed, side lobes falcate. Column with foot as long as the column or longer; anther cucullate; pollinia four, in two masses, stipe about as long as pollinia (B. taeniorhiza (Schltr.) Garay with two stipes), narrowly linear; viscidium reduced; rostellum bidentate.
